🏍️ Exploring Top Motorcycle Dealerships: The Good, the Great, and the Room for Improvement
This week, we went on a full-day adventure to review six motorcycle dealerships in the Cincinnati area, including both Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle locations. Our mission? To find out which dealerships stood out in terms of customer service, bike availability, pricing transparency, and overall vibe. Here are the highlights:
🌟 Beechmont Motorsports
If you’re looking for variety and vintage bike nostalgia, Beechmont Motorsports is a must-visit. From a wide selection of metric bikes to an incredible collection of vintage motorcycles, this dealership offers something for every enthusiast. Customer service was top-notch, and their pricing was transparent. The cherry on top? Test rides are available and easy to schedule. This dealership earned a solid 4.5-star rating from us for its welcoming atmosphere and impressive inventory.
🏍️ Seven Hills Harley-Davidson
Located in the Beechmont area, Seven Hills has a new ownership team that’s all about creating a friendly and relaxed environment. While their bike selection is slightly limited and pricing isn’t as transparent as we’d like, it’s a solid choice for Harley-Davidson fans. With a cozy pool table in the showroom and great customer service, Seven Hills scored a respectable 4 stars. Plus, they’re known for hosting fun community events like chili cook-offs! 🌶️
🔥 Sin City Harley-Davidson
For those who want variety, Sin City Harley-Davidson is your go-to dealership. With the largest inventory of bikes in the area, you’re bound to find your dream ride here. However, keep in mind that their sales team is more aggressive than others, which might not suit everyone. Despite that, they shine in parts and service availability. Sin City earned a solid 4-star rating for its expansive selection and knowledgeable staff.
đź’Ž Indian Motorcycles of Cincinnati
As proud Indian Motorcycle riders, we were excited to visit this dealership. While it has tremendous potential and a friendly staff, it’s still a work in progress. With new bikes like the Indian Pursuit Icon on display, the inventory is growing, but there’s room for improvement in organization and service areas. A surprise 3% credit card fee on purchases also left us scratching our heads. Overall, this dealership received a near-4-star rating for its promise and welcoming atmosphere.
đź‘‘ Queen City Harley-Davidson
Now this was a standout! Queen City Harley-Davidson wowed us with its massive showroom, incredible inventory, and clean, modern space. The staff was knowledgeable and approachable without being pushy, making the experience all the more enjoyable. For anyone looking to shop for bikes, accessories, or even get a tattoo (yes, they have an in-house tattoo artist!), Queen City is a must-visit. This dealership earned a well-deserved 5 stars!
🏆 PowerKeg Harley-Davidson
Last but certainly not least, PowerKeg Harley-Davidson exceeded expectations with its transparent pricing displayed on every bike and stellar customer service—even when we walked in just minutes before closing. The team was welcoming and knowledgeable, and the parts and accessories department had plenty to offer. For these reasons, PowerKeg earned a 5-star rating and tied with Queen City as our top dealership in Cincinnati!
🚨 The Garage Brew Motorcycle Show: A Haven for Bike Enthusiasts
After visiting the dealerships, we headed to the Garage Brew Motorcycle Show at Rhinegeist Brewery—a free event showcasing custom builds, vintage bikes, and jaw-dropping creativity. From dual-engine Triumphs to meticulously restored Indian Scouts, the variety at this show was astounding. It was a great place to connect with the motorcycle community, admire the craftsmanship, and even run into familiar faces from local riding groups like Behind the Bars 859.
🔑 Key Takeaways for Riders
- 🚗 Shop Around: Each dealership offers a unique experience, so don’t settle until you find the perfect fit.
- 💬 Ask Questions: Knowledgeable staff can make a big difference, especially if you’re a first-time buyer.
