Things you will need (Clickable Links)
1
Quadlock or any other CarPlay adapter.
Unpack your adapter and plug it into the Indian Challenger or Chieftain USB if you have a passthrough adapter. (Note: Not all adapters will be compatible with the Ride Command OS.)
2
1Mii Bluetooth Adapter
Unpack your 1Mii Bluetooth adapter and plug it into the passthrough on the Quadlock adapter. If you don’t have the Quadlock unit or a passthrough, proceed to the next step.
3
(Optional) Car Charger USB C Fast Charging
If you didn't get a CarPlay adapter with a passthrough USB, most Indian motorcycles have a power port in the right-side saddlebag, located inside the main center hinge. You can plug a car charger into it, then plug the 1Mii adapter into the charger inside the saddlebag.
4
Start Pairing your 1Mii adapter
Hold the button down for 3 to 5 seconds until the 1Mii adapter starts flashing red and blue. It must be plugged in and receiving power, so make sure your bike is turned on.
5
Add device in Ride Command
While the adapter is flashing red and blue, go into the Ride Command Bluetooth settings, click on 'Add Device,' and let it find the adapter to pair it.
6
Your CarPlay will start up on the screen from the Adapter
Now, the CarPlay Quadlock or adapter you’ve bought will start up, and you can add your phone. (Note: Android may work, but I believe it is not compatible with the Ride Command software.)
7
Summary
Now, your CarPlay Quadlock or adapter should be up and running, and you can add your phone. You should now have wireless CarPlay working on your Indian. (Note: Android may not be compatible with the Ride Command software.)
